WoW Engineering Guide

The first thing to understand about WoW Engineering is…IT’S FUN.
You get to create all kinds of entertaining and amazing things to help other players. You can make your own mobile store, mechanical toys (yes even dragons) specialised helmets and transportation equipment…it’s amazing.
WoW Engineering Guide points out that what is important to understand, is that MOST of the things an engineer can build can only be used by engineers. So you will be very popular.
You can build a MOTORCYCLE…and in fact you can build it for other people…but they are expensive. The parts (mats) are really hard to find or make. Of course you get to make a lot of money building them for others.
If being an Engineer is your thing, then you should probably consider mining as your other profession. The Engineer makes great use of ore smelted into bars and the easiest way to get that ore would be to mine it yourself. In addition,WoW Engineering recipes also include Jewels, and they also come out of mining although some will need to be bought. Finally you can buy jewels and ore on the Auction House, but the good ones will NOT be cheap.

WoW Enchanting Guide

Through a combination of spells, formulae and special ingredients gathered across the length and breadth of World of Warcraft, the WoW Enchanter can endow armour, weapons and other equipment and objects with bonuses and benefits that will enhance the powers and prowess of all classes in some way. WoW Enchanting Guide advises that the upside of this profession is that it makes you VERY popular with other players who want their equipment enhanced…and of course you can always charge other players for your services.
The downside though is that WoW Enchanting requires a lot of hard work to reach the level at which their services become profitable. At the lower levels the Enchanter will often ‘disenchant’ a magical piece of equipment to gain materials for levelling their skill, rather than selling it for gold. Consequently the WoW Enchanting skill becomes a balance of selling some for money to live and disenchanting some to advance your skill

WoW Cooking Guide

Cooking is one of the more “Fun” professions to have, particularly if you are a cook yourself in the realm of the mortals. You can create such tantalizing treats as Beer-Basted Boar Ribs, Giant Clam Scorcho, Gooey Spider Cake, Curiously Tasty Omelet and moving onto Master cookery you can create such splendors as Roasted Clefthoof, Warp Burgers, Spicy Crawdads, Crunchy Serpents, Blackened Basilisk and the WoW Cooking Guide favourite – Mok’Nathal Shortribs.
The idea of cooking is of course to nourish and heal players after battle. Each recipe has a different effect on the player and – be warned – they must be tasty.

WoW Blacksmith Guide

The WoW Blacksmith Guide advises that before you do anything you will need training. Trainers can usually be found around a forge or anvil. If you get lost you can ask a guard in a city who will give you directions.
The next thing you will need is a blacksmith’s hammer which can be obtained from a trader who can usually be found near to your trainer. You need your hammer to make an item, and in most cases you will have to be at a forge or anvil to do so.
If you are planning to be a WoW Blacksmith we suggest you should also be a miner as the miner can smelt ore into bars that the blacksmith needs. With these you will be able to make arms and armor. These items are much sought after and are often of a better standard than those that are obtained from vendors or monsters in the game. The WoW Blacksmith can help with weapons damage by offering sharpening and weight stones.

WoW Alchemy Guide

The Alchemist can create a variety of effects, including healing, invisibility, mana potions, elemental resistance, oils to coat weapons and much, much more. The WoW Alchemy Guide advises that the first step is to get training from a WoW Alchemy trainer, if you get lost you can ask a guard in any big city and he will direct you.
There are graded levels to Alchemists – the same with every profession – they rank as
Apprentice
Level 5
Skill 1 – 75
Journeyman
Level 10
Skill 50 – 150
Expert
Level 20
Skill 125 – 225
Artisan
Level 35
Skill 226 – 300
Master
Level 50
Skill 301 – 375
Grand Master
Level 65
Skill 359 – 450

WoW Profession Guide

In the World of Warcraft there are many professions that you can undertake in order to enhance your equipment, make gold and have abit of extra fun.
The Wow Profession Guide advises that you will be a builder of all manner of crazy machines, clothing of the finest cloth, which can be endowed with magic spells and enchantments and weapons of awesome power and look.
You will be able to make Leather skins and hides into the finest jackets and pants and manufacture tough armour for those that cannot wear metal lest it interfere with their spell casting

WoW Warrior Guide

A master at arms and armaments, the WoW Warrior has focussed himself on pure martial ability. WoW Warrior Guide introduces you to the benefits of the WoW Warrior.

Warriors in Warcraft are primarily the game’s tanks – able to withstand exceptional punishment through sheer toughness, heavy plate armour, massive shields and brilliant tactical knowledge.

They are also the masters of keeping themselves in front of harm’s way – managing entire crowds of enemies, and then withstanding the punishment that is dished out while their colleagues are free to pound the enemy into the ground.

WoW Warlock Guide

A WoW Warlock is dedicated to dark arts: Fire, Brimstone, Necromancy and Demonology are his trademarks, pulling the energies and the denizens of the twisting nether to his purpose, controlling legions of demonic underlings to do all his dirty work for him. WoW Warlock Guide introduces you to the Warlock.

The Warlock gives away any guise of efficiently dealing with his foes – rather, he revels and draws power from their pain and suffering, prolonging the inevitable, torturing his victims mercilessly and using curses, mind control and pain as effective weapons of war.

WoW Shaman Guide

The WoW Shaman is traditionally a spiritual leader for the tribe. Their power emanates from the elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. WoW Shaman Guide advises that different combinations of these powers enable them to become ranged attackers of note, melee fighters that can do extraordinary damage or healers of vast ability.

The only true “hybrid” class in World of Warcraft they truly reflect the old maxim “Jack of all trades and master of none”

The WoW Shaman utilises various combinations of totems, one from each of the four elements is available at any one time, which call upon the elements to assist their current task. These totems are learned as they level and added abilities present themselves over time.

WoW Rogue Guide

There are many ways to deal damage, and the WoW Rogue has taken the part of the thief – agility, finesse, the art of the well-placed knife and an absolute lack of any desire to stand toe to toe if a quick club to the back of a head will serve just as well.

WoW Rogue Guide introduces you to the WoW Rogue, perhaps the single best damage dealing class in Azeroth. WoW Rogues can use distance weapons, but usually this is far more for the opportunity for distraction they provide rather than dealing any significant damage.

WoW Priest Guide

In World of Warcraft, the WoW Priest taps into the magical essence of the many gods, both good and evil, that surround Azeroth. Priests, by living a life of discipline and service to higher powers, are in turn granted powers to heal shield and grant great benefits to others.

The pure light energy they use for these purposes are energies that affect others – whether healing staunch allies or using the blinding light of hope and purity to smite the undead legions of the Lich King, WoW Priest Guide suggests that if experienced, he will find himself in great demand amongst its denizens.

WoW Paladin Guide

Defender of the weak and destroyer of the Undead, the WoW Paladin is the Holy Warrior. They must however remain on the straight and narrow path. WoW Paladin Guide warns that committing an evil act will remove all powers from the Paladin which come in the form of Blessings, Auras and Seals directly from the Holy Light.

There are those who play World of Warcraft who believe that the WoW Paladin has too much going for them. Their ability to wear the highest level Plate Armour, wield mighty weapons and cast Holy Spells of death and protection make them almost unkillable.

WoW Mage Guide

WoW Mage Guide says Wow Mage can be of almost any race – at least, those with an interest in the intellectual pursuits of arcane knowledge and power. The WoW Mage, unlike most races, disdains the use of physical armour and arms, relying instead upon dedication to study, the improvement of intellect, and the weaving of powerful magical forces to achieve their goals.

A WoW Mage is suited to a player who prefers to see the enemy at a distance, picking off targets one at a time with a variety of arcane and other like-energy conjurations and protections. Indeed, it is the mage’s role in World of Warcraft to provide distance fire support.

WoW Hunter Guide

A WoW Hunter can come from just about any race, although there are some races that are naturally more suited to excel at the hunter’s profession. The Hunter, who allies closely with the Druid in many ways, seeks to work within the balance of nature. The WoW Hunter Guide prefers to use a ranged weapon, utilising the natural growth of the forest and plain and an innate stealth to stalk and kill their target.

On the alliance side the Long Bow is the natural weapon of the Elven Hunter. Elves, who prefer the forests of their birth, move easily and unseen like ghosts. The Dwarves however have developed the use of gunpowder and the manufacture of strong bullets and projectiles to slay their prey.

WoW Druid Guide

The WoW Druid is a naturalist – life and growth are the cornerstones of their belief. Dedicated to balance, they understand that life is a balance between birth, death and rebirth – and they will act as they need to for the preservation of life, rather than a society, country or leader. WoW Druid Guide brings to life the versatile Druids of Azeroth.
Channelling the wild energies of the planet itself, they can accomplish anything that other more specialised characters can while adding their own special touch of earth power. WoW Druids are shape shifters, able to take on the physical attributes of a number of wild animals. This totemic study and respect for nature means all of life’s methods are available to them, depending on their form of the moment:

WoW Death Knight Guide

Not one of the original classes of the World of Warcraft, the WoW Death Knight is the first of the new HERO Class. They were originally servants of the Lich King, Arthas was the first of them. With their servitude to the Lich King no longer in place, some of them have tried to re-join the mortal realms by returning to aid either the Horde or Alliance.
The WoW Death Knight Guide does not start at level 1 like other classes, but because of their training to become Death Knights, they are already at level 55 and complete with armour and weapons suitable to the level. In addition they wield ferocious power and magic that set them apart from other classes.

WoW Class Guides

The Paladin – Soldier of the Light, protector of the innocent, pure in thought, word and deed, the WoW Paladin stands as a bastion against the darkness.
The Priest – Holy healer of the sick and injured the WoW Priest has a dark side that can cast evil Shadow magic at their enemies with fearful effect
The Rogue – Crafty, sneaky, able to disappear as if by magic, only to return when totally unexpected and unseen until you feel a knife slip between your ribs, the WoW Rogue combines guile and poison to be the deadliest killer in the land.
The Shaman – Controller of the elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water, the WoW Shaman uses totems of power to bring healing or death in equal measure to those most deserving.
The Warlock – Setting aside any pretence of light magic, the WoW Warlock casts Arcane spells of immense power bringing disease, pain and death…and cares not.
The Warrior – Strength and stamina are the friends of the mighty WoW Warrior as they stand tall in the midst of danger, death and destruction to protect their allies and torment their foes.

The Priest – Holy healer of the sick and injured the WoW Priest has a dark side that can cast evil Shadow magic at their enemies with fearful effect

WoW Class Guide - Death Knight

The Death Knight – Born of the evil of The Lich King, the Death Knights were his all-powerful army until the acts he perpetrated saw even the dead rebel against him. Some of the Death Knights have sought to join the Alliance or Horde to fight the evil that they once supported…but don’t expect the WoW Death Knight will be welcomed with open arms…

WoW Addicts Guide

This is not the guide for the fainthearted or for those that only want to turn the computer on for half an hour before bed. This is the Guide for the true WoW Addict who know that the fun really doesn’t start until you get to the high levels and wants to get there AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, or orcly possible, or…well…you get what I mean…and are going to sit there until it happens!!

Joana's Horde Leveling Guide

Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide is the recommended way to get from level 1 to level 80 in the shortest possible time…and have fun along the way. To trace a little bit of the history of the Guide, it was started by a male player who played mostly under the names of Joana (female character) and Mancow (male character) who, in his own words, got sick and tired of being asked if he could really “level that fast”.

Zygor Guides Review

One thing I did notice that was interesting when I went to see what others say about the guide, was that noone seems to know the correct name of it. It’s known as Zygor Guides (as you can see from the banner on this page), Zygor’s Guide by most of the people that talk about it and Zygor Guide by those of us that consider it all one guide, rather than many individual one.
The first thing I noticed when I got inside the Zygor Guides is that is operates for any race and any class. You can pick your own character to get started and not be just making a direct clone of another
