He has turned away from the traditional arcane studies of the mages and shamans of Azeroth – indeed, the Warlock was once one of those practitioners but their investigation of demon energies and control have led them into this dark realm.

An experienced WoW Warlock has a large number of demonic helpers – from the small, fire spitting imp, the beautiful and deadly dark mistress, to the massive, hulking void walkers, a Warlock very rarely travels alone.

With the ability to cast curses on a number of targets at the same time, the WoW Warlock’s other great weapon is fear itself – able to send even hardened veterans screaming from the horrors only he can control
